With all areas of the Club now reopened and humming along well, we’re looking forward to a great rest-of-the-summer season here at the LMC. Here’s the latest update on Club operations, policies and procedures:
Quarterly Club Minimum In light of changes in Club operations this past quarter due to the COVID-19 crisis, the Board elected to once again waive the $75 quarterly club minimum for all members, which would have been billed at the end of June. The minimum will be reinstated effective July 1st and billed, if not used, at the end of the third quarter, September 30th. As a reminder, this $75 quarterly club minimum includes food and beverage charges, golf shop merchandise, tennis merchandise, golf cart rental fees and guest fees. Should you have any questions, please contact our AR Manager Donna McCamy at firstname.lastname@example.org or 706-841-7132.
Your Guests are Welcome!
Accompanied guests are now welcome at the Club for all food and beverage services. We are glad to be able to host you and your guests in the dining areas of both Clubhouses. For the protection of all, we ask that you and your guests continue to practice social-distancing and that anyone exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms please not enter any of the Club’s facilities.
Fitness Center Changes
Effective immediately, reservations are no longer required for use of the Fitness Center. Members only – no guests – are allowed to use the Fitness Center at this time. As of next Saturday, June 27th, we will no longer have attendants in the Fitness Center. Therefore, we ask that members please sanitize equipment after use with disinfectant wipes provided in the Fitness Center. The new opening time will be 7:30 a.m. If you are interested in working out earlier than that time, please contact Victor Balcom to obtain a key and arrange a brief orientation for how to open the exterior doors. He may be reached at email@example.com or 706-841-1956.
Family Privileges Policy (Parents, please help us enforce these rules!)
We would like to make you aware of the policy related to family privileges for Club members, including parameters for the adult children of current members:
A Member, the spouse of a Member, and the children of a Member under age twenty-one (21), or any children of a Member (if a dependent and/or full-time student) under age twenty-three (23), shall be entitled to full use of the Club, subject to the rules and policies set by the Board. In order to retain the privilege to use the facilities of the Club, the son or daughter of a Member must make application and be approved by the Board for membership upon reaching the age of twenty-three (23). Otherwise, the adult son or daughter of a Member will be in the status of a guest insofar as the use of the Club's facilities is concerned, and will be subject to the standard guest rules and fees for each department of the Club.
Thank you for using and enjoying your Lookout Mountain Club. We hope to see you soon!
